We are looking for a Housing Programme Support and Monitoring Officer to join our supportive, dynamic and knowledgeable Housing Team on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Housing and Social Inclusion team that works with a progressive attitude and has made significant achievements in preventing homelessness, reducing the use of bed and breakfast accommodation and assisting the most vulnerable members of our community. The successful applicant will play a vital role in continuing that record across both our Social Inclusion and Homeless and Advice teams.

The role will focus on the development of the service, collating and analysing data, working with a variety of stakeholders to notice trends and inform commissioning decisions and contract monitoring. Responsibilities will also include coordinating and facilitating meetings and events, working on developing and nurturing relationships to strengthen and sustain the work of the Social Inclusion Partnership, and the work streams associated with the Homeless and Advice team.

The successful applicant will be able to work independently and intuitively, taking initiative to support the wider function of the team with the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

The council signs up to the Disability Confident scheme (formerly known as the ‘Two Ticks’ scheme). If you have declared a disability on the application form we can guarantee you an interview if you meet the essential criteria for the job.
