  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm and Friday 8am to 4pm
To work with and lead a team carrying out enhanced grounds maintenance, landscaping and other environmental works in parks, open spaces and public areas within the Borough.
These works will also involve both hard and soft landscaping to a high standard. It is expected that the successful candidate will be able to interpret landscape drawings and associated specifications.

Whilst undertaking Landscape Maintenance you will use a variety of machinery and hand tools in accordance with quality standards, work instructions and specifications within grounds maintenance management plans.

Effective leading of the Landscape Maintenance Team and deputising for Assistant GM Managers in their absence will be essential elements of the role.

Accurate recording of the Landscape Team’s progress using hand held devices.

Highly motivated individual
Well-organised and able to take direction
Strong team work skills
Keen attention to detail
Proactive and flexible approach to work
Horticultural qualification level 3 and above or relevant experience in a similar team leading role
Experience with garden machinery
Full UK driving licence
